"My Arrival at Vohne Liche Kennels."
Tim Tonsor.
This will be the first of many blog posts to come out of my office at VLK. I am excited to be a part of this team and I know that there will be a lot of success in the future. I am ecstatic to be working beside of people that I have known for up to 20+ years in this field. Old friends like Bobby Roettger, Danny and Lisa Parker and new friends like Heath Farthing, Luther McDonald, Luis Rodriguez and Joe & Juile Licklider and Ken's family that I work with daily.
It would be wrong if I did not mention my longtime friendship with the man that built this business from the ground up,Ken Licklider. I met Ken at a seminar in the early 1990's and I have never lost sight of what he has taught me over the years. This career field would not be where it is today had it not been for his creativity and logical approach to detection dog training, thanks Ken!
I am very proud to be a part of the fabric that has been woven into this patch work quilt that is VLK K9. I am especially proud to be on the ground at my "home away from home" helping to propel VLK further than it has ever been. My K9 background is varied and has covered the spectrum from Handler to the Vice President for a major Government contractor. I have built and managed K9 programs from 2 to 180 working K9 Teams. I have held every job imaginable in the K9 field but I rest my experience in my ability to build relationships, build and manage K9 programs both large and small. Rest assured, that I will pour my heart and soul into everything that I do for this company.
I hope that you enjoy my future blog posts.
